Civil war. A poem by Eimear Feerick

Like the civil war once again,
Families torn – divided.
Some flouting the rules,
Others following to the letter.
Arguments created and had.
Pulling us apart when we should be together.

The final push is on,
Let us all rise as one,
Let us get through.
Let us reunite as families,
Let us bury the hatchet.
Let bygones be bygones,
As we move forward,
Let us move together,
As a family, as a country.
